Leicester and Tottenham are back in Premier League action after both clubs fell victim to Covid-related postponements at the weekend.
Sunday’s north London derby was postponed because Arsenal were unable to field a team and Burnley’s request to call off Saturday’s home game against Leicester was accepted by the Premier League for the same reason.
Spurs start the game as 27/20 favourites to win and leapfrog arch rivals Arsenal into fifth place, so let’s look at some of the stats and odds in our Leicester v Tottenham betting tips.
Leicester v Tottenham form
Tottenham head to the King Power Stadium unbeaten in the Premier League under Antonio Conte, but the atmosphere at the club seems to be downbeat.
Spurs were beaten 3-0 on aggregate by Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final and Conte cut a disconsolate figure after the 1-0 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the second leg.
The Italian followed the “club line” by dropping midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who was booed off by supporters after he took an age to leave the pitch when substituted in the 3-1 FA Cup win against Morecambe at a time when the hosts were trailing.
The former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss also rated Tottenham as a mid-table team after the 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “We need to have patience because there is a lot, a lot of a job to do, in many aspects because in the last few years the level of Tottenham has dropped and dropped a lot. Now we have to rebuild, and we need to have patience and more time.
“We are working a lot, to try to fight in this league, but in this moment we are in the middle.”
Leicester beat Liverpool 1-0 in their last Premier League outing towards the end of the year two days after a 6-3 drubbing at Manchester City, although they beat a second-string Watford team 4-1 in the FA Cup.
The injury-depleted Foxes have won their last three top-flight games at home and are available at 2/1 for a fourth win, while a draw can be backed at 12/5.
Leicester v Spurs head to head
Although we mentioned the price on these teams sharing the spoils, it’s worth bearing in mind there has not been a draw in the last nine Premier League meetings.
Last season’s encounter at the King Power was a catastrophe for City who were 14 minutes away from securing a place in the Champions League, but a Kasper Schmeichel own goal and a Gareth Bale double sealed a 4-2 win for the visitors, consigning the hosts to the Europa League.
Spurs have won this fixture in three of the last five meetings, all by at least two goals which is available at 18/5, an interesting option considering Leicester are without their two main strikers Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho.
That said, Son Heung-min will be absent once again for Tottenham, so both teams are not at full strength in attack.

Key Battles
The onus on scoring goals for Leicester is likely to fall on the shoulders of Zambian striker Patson Daka who had been earmarked to start against Burnley before the game was called off.
The £23m signing should have plenty of support behind him with Harvey Barnes, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans all available.
With Eric Dier likely to be missing from Spurs’ back line and Cristian Romero only just returming to training, an untried three-man defence comprising Joe Rodon, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies could present chances for Daka.
For Spurs, Ryan Sessegnon may get an opportunity at left-back if Sergio Reguilon is left out of the squad once again, while the likes of Harry Winks and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be given the task of blunting Leicester’s creative midfield.

City manager Brendan Rodgers was able to welcome back five players for the postponed game against Burnley, with James Justin returning from an 11-month lay-off.
Luke Thomas, Caglar Soyuncu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Daka are also fit, but Rodgers certainly has more options at his disposal.

Conte is without Son, Dier and Romero, but it remains to be seen whether Ndombele is forgiven for his everlasting substitution.
Harry Kane is expected to lead the line in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formation, accompanied by Lucas Moura and possibly Steven Bergwijn.
Conte selected goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and left-back Matt Doherty for the 1-0 defeat by Chelsea, but neither player covered himself in glory, so Hugo Lloris is almost certain to return between the posts and Sessegnon could also be in the starting XI.
Goalscorer Odds
Kane has scored three goals in his last four Premier League outings and was on target against Morecambe, so he leads the betting at 16/5 to break the deadlock and is 23/20 to find the net as he has done in six of the last seven encounters with Leicester.
The England captain scored four goals in this fixture in the 2016-17 season and his opener in last season’s 4-2 win was his 11th in seven starts against Wednesday’s opponents.
