This weekend see’s four of the top six sides in League Two go head-to-head and Torquay United need a win as they continue to slide down the table.
Paul Buckle’s Torquay side are in a slump and an away trip to high-flying Shrewsbury isn’t the best tie in which to find some form but the Gulls can be backed at 11/4 to win the game.
Shrewsbury are unbeaten at home having taken 10 points from a possible 12 and the Shrews are available at 1/1 to win at home.
However Shrewsbury have beaten Torquay just once in their last nine home games, drawing two and losing six.
But that win did come in the 2008/09 season and last season saw the two sides play out a 1-1 draw – the same result to happen on Saturday is 11/2.
Torquay have scored just one goal in their last four league games and if offered, Paul Buckle would take a 0-0 draw, available at 8/1.
Bury vs Rotherham
Rotherham were title contenders before the season started and are 7/1 to win League Two, mainly in part to Adam Le Fondre who has eight goals in nine league starts and is 9/2 to score first.
Bury have started the season strongly and are just three points behind Rotherham but are 16/1 to win League Two.
But on only two occasions in the last 12 meetings between these two has the away team registered victory and that is reflected in the betting market with Rotherham available at 15/8 to win with the home side available at 11/8.
The draw is available at 12/5 but there has only been a draw on three of those 12 occasions.
Torquay have drifted from 5/1 to 10/1 to win League Two. See the full League Two football betting odds market here.
