Peter Taylor is certain he can turn around Bradford’s poor start

At the start of the season Bradford were strong favourites to gain promotion to League One but a poor start sees them lie 23rd in the League Two table.

Bradford are now 33/1 to win the League Two title and after their home loss to Morecambe last Saturday, the form suggests Bradford fans will be watching their side battle a relegation fight come the end of the season.

But Bantams manager Peter Taylor is convinced he is the right man to steer Bradford back up the table.

Bradford have won just two of their ten League Two games this season and have picked up just eight points from a possible 30 on offer.

The former Crystal Palace, Hull and England under-21 manager believes he has the experience to turn Bradford’s season around.

“People will see my record of five promotions, but they should also look at my age and experience,” said Taylor.

“In our current situation you need as much experience as you can around you, no doubt about that.

“I will get it right, I’m quite sure of that.

“I can identify what we need, If I didn’t have that up my sleeve then we would be struggling.”

Bradford head to Barnet on Saturday and they are 9/5 to win the game but have just two points from five away games.

Barnet are favourites at 7/5 having lost just the one home league game this season, but this is a crucial game for Taylor’s side after losing to relegation candidates Morecambe on Saturday.

That loss means that it can’t be taken for granted that Bradford will turn around their season and the Barnet game may be another indication that Bradford will struggle this season.

It’s 12/5 for both sides to come away with a point. See the full Barnet vs Bradford betting odds market here.
