League Two Accumulator: Luton can gain revenge against Cambridge

Published:

As you may have guessed we’re rather fond of Luton when it comes to picking out a League Two banker.

John Still’s outfit have made the cut again with Southend, Stevenage and Dagenham joining them in this particular 18/1 fourfold.

Luton to beat Cambridge @ 10/11

The visiting U’s are in decent nick but we think Richard Money’s side will have more pressing concerns – namely a midweek FA Cup Fourth Round Replay against Manchester United.

Cambridge dumped Luton out of the cup this term but revenge is a dish best served cold.

The Hatters were 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture back in September. And having gone ten games unbeaten at Kenilworth Road, winning eight of those, they’ve got to be backed.

Southend to beat York @ 3/4

York are struggling to get their act together at present with a run of four games without a win cause for concern.

The same can’t be said for Phil Brown’s Southend though.

The Shrimpers are flying high following a run of just one defeat in their previous 12 league outings.

And having gone three games unbeaten against the Minstermen they have nothing to fear here.

Stevenage to beat Oxford @ 6/5

Painfully inconsistent Oxford are well and truly stuck in mid-table mud while Stevenage are aiming to gatecrash the play-offs.

What could possibly go wrong here?

Hopefully nothing as far as this tip is concerned. The visitors have failed to beat Borough in four attempts and are likely to struggle against a team who’ve won nine of their 13 home games so far.

Dagenham to beat Cheltenham @ 8/5

The Daggers have the perfect opportunity to collect three vital points and drag their opponents further into the relegation mire.

Wayne Burnett’s men have lost just one of their last five games in League Two and are our pick to triumph against fellow strugglers Cheltenham.

The Robins have lost four of their last six on the road and that kind of form gives the Essex side the nod.
