Wycombe Wanderers have the chance to leapfrog Port Vale at the top of the table when they travel to Vale Park on Saturday.
Gary Waddock’s side are just two points behind Port Vale, the joint-favourites at 7/2 to win League Two, and last year’s League One side will throw themselves right back into contention in the League Two winners betting with a win.
Wycombe are 2/1 to beat Port Vale but Micky Adams’ side have a habit of drawing their home matches with Wycombe 1-1, the last four times from the five clashes between the two at Vale Park, and the 1-1 draw is priced at 11/2.
Port Vale are 11/8 and Micky Adams knows it’s home games such as these that his side will have to win if they want automatic promotion.
Aldershot Town vs Chesterfield
Chesterfield are looking to get back to winning ways after losing their unbeaten home record to Burton Albion last Saturday and the League Two leaders are 8/5 to beat Aldershot.
Aldershot managed to win both fixtures between the two sides 1-0 last season and Kevin Dillon’s side are also 8/5 to beat Chesterfield, and 7/1 to repeat last season’s score line and win 1-0.
Chesterfield will want to avoid defeat but with Port Vale playing Wycombe, they could find themselves top of League Two even if they don’t manage to avoid defeat.
Shrewsbury Town vs Southend United
Shrewsbury join Wycombe and Bury on 28 points and the Shrews can further enhance their promotion credentials with a win against 15th placed Southend.
Shrewsbury are unbeaten at home this season and are 5/6 to beat Southend, but the Shrews have only won on ten occasions at home against the Shrimpers, with Southend winning eight and eight drawn.
Shrewsbury are 10/3 in the League Two betting odds to upset Shrewsbury.
A draw between Shrewsbury and Southend is priced at 12/5. See the full League Two football betting odds here.
