Barnet vs Cheltenham – Bottom club still looking for first win

Barnet will hope they can end their poor start to the season when Cheltenham head South to the Underhill Stadium on Saturday.

After conceding seven against Crewe, Barnet prop up the rest of the division but a home draw with Bury last week will give the squad confidence ahead of the Cheltenham tie.

However history is against Barnet, they haven’t beaten Cheltenham in the past seven encounters with the past three ties at Underhill ending in a draws and its 23/10 for the draw pattern to continue.

Cheltenham’s four league games this season have produced 20 goals, whilst the seven encounters that Underhill has witnessed between these two has seen 24 goals so the form suggests goals are in store.

Cheltenham new boy Marlon Pack is pushing to make his debut as the Robins hope to continue their impressive start to the season that see’s them lie in sixth place – they are 9/5 to beat Barnet.

Southend vs Torquay

Torquay make the trip to Southend as the only Football League team to have won all their league matches this season and are 5/4 to continue the run.

The two teams have met 87 times with Southend winning 40%, Torquay 31% and the draw occurring on 29% of the occasions.

But the two teams haven’t met since 2004 when Southend ran out 2-1 victors and they are 21/10 to defeat the league leaders.

Macclesfield vs Stockport

Macclesfield and Stockport are level with Barnet on two points at the bottom of the league, but Stockport will be confident of going to Macclesfield and winning having done so on six of the 11 occasions these two have met.

Stockport are 12/5 to win and Macclesfield are 11/10 but you can rule out the draw as it’s never happened in the seven times Stockport have visited Moss Rose.
