After the international break and the Easter period, the football schedule resumes a familiar feel this weekend.
The season enters the home straight, and everything is still up grabs from the Premier League down to League Two and below.
Here are our accumulator tips this weekend…
Middlesbrough to beat Nottingham Forest – 6/10
Middlesbrough’s squad is arguably the best in the Championship, and now they’re starting to motor under Tony Pulis.
Boro have only lost four times at home since September, and all of those came against the sides currently sitting in the top four.
So they should be more than capable of beating an inconsistent Nottingham Forest, especially with the visitors failing to score a single goal in their last four games.
Birmingham City to beat Burton Albion – 3/4
Garry Monk looked a savvy appointment as new Birmingham manager – surprising, but savvy.
And it’s worked a treat. After a stodgy start, Blues have won their last three in a row to pull five clear of the relegation zone.
Burton, on the other hand, look a little doomed at the foot of the table. The Brewers have been treading water all season and now look like dropping.
Monk’s men will take no chances and will look to stretch further clear of the bottom three.
West Bromwich Albion to beat Swansea City – 27/20
Yes, we’re tipping West Brom to win a game. Alan Pardew’s disastrous reign at The Hawthorns is over.
Now there has to be a response from the players.
Swansea come into this one without a win in their last three games. They’ve not won away from home since December either. There could be some rare joy for the Baggies fans this season.
Leicester City to beat Newcastle United – 10/11
The Foxes have won each of their last five meetings against the North-East club, keeping clean sheets in four of those.
Claude Puel’s men have home advantage on Saturday, and have been excellent on their own patch of late.
They’re unbeaten in six home Premier League games, while Newcastle have managed just two points from four games on the road.
Millwall to beat Bristol City – 11/10
The Robins don’t travel well. So a trip to the Lion’s Den won’t have been high on Bristol City’s agenda for this weekend.
Lee Johnson’s side are winless in 12 on the road since beating Queens Park Rangers just before Christmas.
Millwall, by contrast, have won seven of their last nine matches and are unbeaten at home dating back to early November.
Neil Harris’ side should continue their play-off charge in South London.
So there we go. This Saturday’s selections are Leicester/West Brom/Middlesbrough/Birmingham and Millwall all to win!
