Former Watford and Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is the favourite to step in and take the reins at West Bromwich Albion, according to our traders.

A 1-1 draw against the leagues bottom side Ipswich Town saw Darren Moore’s time in the hot seat come to an abrupt end, with the board not convinced he was the right man to lead the side through a promotion push after just four wins in 12.

Jokanovic led Fulham to the Premier League through the play-offs last season, and currently sits as 1/4 favourite to become the new man in charge at the Baggies.

He’s miles ahead of the second favourite for the role, with David Moyes coming in at 6/1 to be named as manager.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Jokanovic knows the Championship well, so don’t be surprised to see Albion’s promotion odds get trimmed if he gets the job.”
