Inter Milan v Shakhtar betting tips: Who joins Sevilla in Europa League final?
Inter Milan take on Shakhtar Donetsk tonight, with both sides looking to earn the right to take on Europa League specialists Sevilla in this season’s final.
The Italian side are looking to reach their first European final since winning the Champions League in 2010 and striker Romelu Lukaku is in red-hot form.
But they face a Shakhtar side that swept Basel aside in the quarter-finals and they’ll be looking to continue their momentum.
The game kicks off at 20:00 (UK Time) on BT Sport 1 from the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf and here are our Inter Milan v Shakhtar Donetsk betting tips.
Inter Milan are the odds-on favourites to win in 90 minutes tonight at 4/7, with our traders pricing them at 2/7 to qualify for the final.
Meanwhile, Shakhtar are the underdogs and can be backed at 9/2 to win the match. The Ukrainian side are going at 12/5 to qualify by any means.
Shakhtar have scored 12 times in their last four Europa League games and they’re 33/1 to score over 3.5 goals, while Inter to win and BTTS is 19/10.
Inter had the best defensive record in Serie A this season and they’re 15/8 to win to nil.
Inter will likely be unchanged from the side that beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in the last round, with Matias Vecino and Stefano Sensi the only players expected to miss out.
Antonio Conte has enjoyed success with his wing-back system this season and Danilo D’Ambrosio and Ashley Young will continue on opposing flanks, with Nicolo Barella pulling the strings in midfield.
Lautaro Martinez will continue up top alongside Lukaku, with the Belgian looking to score for the seventh consecutive European match.
For Shakhtar, Davit Khocholava is available again after serving his suspension, although he may have to settle for a place on the bench.
After netting against Leverkusen, Lukaku is Inter’s likeliest matchwinner. The striker is 19/10 to bag anytime and 3/1 to open the scoring.
Moraes will be hoping to continue his prolific run after netting four times in his last three Europa League outings. The striker is 2/1 to score anytime.
Meanwhile, Martinez is 13/10 to get on the scoresheet for Inter and Shakhtar’s Marlos is 17/2 to net first.
