Frank Lampard odds-on favourite in Premier League sack race

After Chelsea’s 3-1 home defeat to Manchester City, Frank Lampard is the 8/11 favourite in the Premier League sack race, according to our odds.
The Blues were top of the league after a 3-1 win over Leeds United in early December, but four defeats in six matches have seen them slip to eighth in the table, just three points ahead of Arsenal.
Elsewhere, Sheffield United’s continue to set the standard for the worst start to a Premier League campaign, with just two points from 17 matches, leaving Blades boss Chris Wilder 3/1 second favourite in the betting.
Mikel Arteta has started to turn things around over the festive period for Arsenal, with the former favourite now 20/1 to be sent packing after three consecutive victories.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “If we’re being frank, Chelsea have been in dreadful form of late and as they continue to slide down the table and away from their fellow title contenders, it’s only increasing the chances of Lamps being sent packing.”
