Football: Five matches to consider for your Saturday acca

It’s the first weekend of December and there are a bunch of festive crackers lined-up to stick into your Saturday betslip.

We’ve got Premier League, Football League, La Liga and more to whet your appetite, but which teams will make it onto your acca? Here are our Saturday picks…

Manchester City v Fulham (Sat, 15:00)

Manchester City have won each of their last nine meetings with the Cottagers, scoring 27 times and conceding just three.

Meanwhile, Scott Parker’s Fulham come into the game fresh of a morale boosting victory against Leicester last weekend and will be keen to remain outside of the relegation zone.

Fulham have just two wins from their opening ten Premier League matches, with both victories coming in the last four games.

Man City’s form has been patchy in the league to say the least, but they should have enough firepower in the ranks to see off the Londoners on home soil. City to win is 1/8.

Norwich v Sheffield Wednesday (Sat, 15:00)

We head to Carrow Road for our next pick which sees high-flying Norwich take on a struggling Sheffield Wednesday.

Norwich are unbeaten in their last four home league meetings with The Owls and Daniel Farke will be hoping his side can return to winning ways after their ten-game unbeaten run came to an end against Luton last time out.

Tony Pulis’ side are winless in their last five league matches with their last win coming against Bournemouth at the start of November. The search for three points may have to wait a little longer with Norwich 5/6 to win at home.

Millwall v Derby County (Sat, 15:00)

Both sides are desperate for three points here with Millwall without a win in seven games and Derby’s only win in the Championship coming back in October.

No side has drawn as many games as Millwall this season with The Lions taking a point from eight of their fifteen matches so far in the league.

The Rams have drawn five with each of their last two matches against Coventry and Wycombe ending all square. This could be another close call with a draw 21/10.

Oxford United v Hull City (Sat, 15:00)

We head to League One where the league leaders travel to an Oxford United side without a win in their last three matches.

The Tigers have made a flying start to the season with eleven wins from their fourteen league matches and Hull are 6/5 to win and make it five wins from their last five.

When the sides last met in July 2017, it was Oxford who come out on top, but Hull are in fine form and we think they could roar over the hosts on Saturday afternoon.

Sevilla v Real Madrid (Sat, 15:15)

We wrap up our Saturday acca with a cracker in La Liga as the champions Real Madrid travel to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium to take on Sevilla.

The hosts have won their last three league matches against Huesca, Celta Vigo and Osasuna and we have Sevilla 6/4 to win the match and leapfrog Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are winless in their last three La Liga matches and they face a tricky test against a Sevilla team that have lost just one of their last fifteen league games, while keeping a clean sheet in seven of their last ten games at home.
