Kevin Doyle previews the FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea

I would like to see Arsenal lift the FA Cup this weekend. They have been getting a lot of stick and it has been a tough season for them. They have turned that around in the last six weeks and they have displayed a lot more positivity. They deserve this.

Chelsea ended the season on a little bit of a negative note against Liverpool. A bit of frustration came through there and I just think they will be pipped here, but it will be close.

It has been a long season for both teams which might show on the pitch. There will also be a sense of relief when this game is over, but I think they will still go into this fired up and we will have an entertaining game on our hands.

These players should be thinking, we are in an FA Cup final, let’s go out there and give it a proper go. It will also mean a huge deal to the to two managers. Both are young guys, looking to get their hands on their first bit of silverware.

I think this means more to these sides in general, than it would to say Man City or Liverpool. It’s a big deal and can be a signal of what’s to come next season also.

I think the game itself will be wrapped up inside 90 minutes, but I think we will be treated to plenty of goals within that time.

I am predicting Arsenal will win 3-2. Aubameyang nearly got the Golden Boot and he has been the highlight for the team this season. I’d be backing him to get on the scoresheet for sure.

Kevin.
