Two London heavyweights go head-to-head in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium as Mikel Arteta and Frank Lampard battle it out to finish their debut managerial seasons with a trophy.

Arsenal shocked the holders Manchester City in the semi-finals, while Chelsea saw off Manchester United to book their place in the final.

The Gunners have won the FA Cup a record thirteen times with their last triumph coming in 2017 against the Blues. Chelsea have won the trophy on eight occasions with their last victory in 2018 under former boss, Antonio Conte.

This one could go either way with both sides capable of beating anyone on their day. The 139th FA Cup final kicks off at 17:30pm on BBC One and BT Sport.

Match Odds

Chelsea kick off as 11/10 favourites to win the match in normal time and 4/7 to lift the trophy.

FA Cup success would the perfect way to cap a successful debut season in charge for Lampard, having already secured a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Arsenal have a proud history in the FA Cup and despite their recent wins over Liverpool and Manchester City, they start at 12/5 with a draw available at the same price during the 90 minutes.

Both sides have showed signs of fragility in defence this season and both teams to score is 7/10 with over 2.5 match goals 20/23.

Extra time and penalties is another real possibility with each side 11/1 to win the final by a penalty shootout.

Talking tactics

Emiliano Martinez continues to deputise in goal for the injured Bernd Leno. Calum Chambers (knee), Shkrodan Mustafi (thigh), and Gabriel Martinelli (knee) remain sidelined.

For Chelsea, Christian Pulisic has declared his return to full fitness. However, Lampard will be left sweating on injuries to both N’Golo Kante and Willian, with the duo having missed the last game of the season against Wolves.

Both sides are likely to opt for a 3-4-3 formation at Wembley on Saturday. The Gunners have had joy against Wolves, Liverpool and Manchester City since switching from their regular 4-3-3 setup.

Chelsea are also likely to stick with their familiar back three with two wing-backs. Mason Mount and Pulisic are likely to start on the flanks with Olivier Giroud leading the line ahead of Tammy Abraham.

Goalscorer Odds

Arsenal and Chelsea both have a reputation of conceding too many soft goals, but they have each only leaked two goals in their respective five FA Cup matches this season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is Arsenal’s main goal threat. The striker is 7/5 to score anytime and 7/1 to score two or more. Alexandre Lacazette is 11/2 to score first with Eddie Nketiah to score anytime 5/2.

Ross Barkley is the Blues top scorer in this season’s FA Cup. The midfielder has netted three goals so far and is 11/2 to score anytime.

Olivier Giroud is 4/1 to break the deadlock against his former club with Christian Pulisic to score anytime a 15/8 shot.
