Odds slashed on Barcelona spending Neymar cash for Mbappe

Amid all the Neymar madness yesterday, it may have gone unnoticed that Kylian Mbappe has told Monaco he wants to leave the club.

According to French outlet L’equipe, the game’s most sought-after striker has become frustrated at Monaco’s inability to offer him a new contract.

So the 18-year-old wonderkid is looking elsewhere.

And with Barcelona cashing in hundreds of millions as Neymar heads to Paris Saint-Germain, punters have been piling in on Mbappe heading to Catalunya.

Having been 14/1 earlier this week, Barcelona’s odds came in to 9s on Wednesday, before tumbling again overnight to just 7/2.

So could Barca’s MSN become MSM this summer? We’ll have to wait and see.

Real Madrid remain 1/3 favourites to land Mbappe, with Los Blancos looking for the next generation of Galacticos.

It’s 5/2 he does stay with Monaco, but more than a few will fancy Pep Guardiola to swoop in and bring Mbappe to Manchester City at 6/1.

PSG are 20/1 to go all out this summer and sign Mbappe to line up alongside Neymar next season.

But having been contenders earlier this summer, Arsenal have fallen out of the running, with our traders making them the 25/1 outsiders.

Mbappe enjoyed a starring campaign last year for Monaco, scoring 26 times (including six in the Champions League) while supplying 14 assists as the Riviera outfit landed their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years.
