Europa League betting tips: Wins for Arsenal and Spurs?

The Europa League rolls onto to the halfway point of the group stages, with matchday three on the way tonight.

As far as interest from England and Scotland goes, Arsenal, Leicester and Rangers have won both of their opening group games so far. Tottenham have one win and a defeat, with Celtic collecting just one point from their two fixtures.

But anything can happen on these Thursday nights, and ahead of this evening’s action, we’ve got your one-stop guide with all the key odds…

Ludogorets v Tottenham, 17:55

For all their goal-scoring exploits this term, Tottenham aren’t without the odd blip, and last week’s lacklustre defeat to Royal Antwerp means Jose Mourinho’s men really need a result tonight.

But the odds suggest Spurs will get just that, with our traders pricing up Harry Kane and co as 1/4 favourites, with the Bulgarian hosts way out at 10/1.

Kane and Son Heung-min may well be rested again this evening, with Carlos Vinicius and Gareth Bale tasked with getting the goals. Bale reopened his Spurs account with the winner over Brighton on Sunday, and the Welshman is 16/5 to score first, and 9/2 to net twice or more.

Benfica v Rangers, 17:55

Rangers’ fan must be giddy with glee this season. Steven Gerrard’s side are unbeaten in 18 matches across all competitions, conceding just four goals.

But they’ll still face a test against Portuguese behemoths Benfica. Our traders have the hosts as 21/20 favourites to win tonight, with Gers out at 5/2.

This Rangers side are on the up, however, and 5/1 says they win to nil tonight in Lisbon. Alfredo Morelos bagged the winner over Standard Liege last week, and the Colombian is 11/2 to net first.

Arsenal v Molde, 20:00

After their composed and impressive victory over Manchester United on Sunday, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will be confident of continuing their 100% record in the Europa League.

The Gunners are 3/10 favourites to down Norwegian visitors Molde, who are 17/2 for a surprise win at the Emirates.

Molde have already defeated Dundalk and Rapid Vienna, and look like Arsenal’s toughest challengers in Group B. Arsenal to win and both teams to score is 31/20. Eddie Nketiah could get another start tonight, with the striker 13/5 to net the opening goal.

Leicester v Sporting Braga, 20:00

Like Arsenal and Rangers, Leicester are another side making short work of the Europa League group stages so far.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are 4/6 to make it three group wins from three at home to Braga tonight, with the visitors at 4/1.

This could be tricky for the Foxes however, with Carlos Carvahal’s Braga seeking a seventh-straight win in all competitions. There’s 4/6 about both teams to score, with 33/20 about over 3.5 goals.

Kelechi Iheanacho could get the nod over Jamie Vardy up front tonight, with the former Man City striker 13/5 to score first.

Celtic v Sparta Prague, 20:00

After conceding a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against Lille last week, this is something of a must-win for Celtic if the Bhoys want to reach the knockout stages.

Neil Lennon’s men are 4/9 favourites to beat Sparta Prague tonight, with the visitors 6/1 underdogs.

The Czech side have already conceded seven goals in Group H, which could be promising for the reigning Scottish champions. Odsonne Eduoard is 10/3 to score first, with Mohamed Elyounoussi 9/5 anytime, having already netted against AC Milan plus a brace versus Lille.
