The tweet that confirms David Cotterill is primed for Birmingham City exit

Birmingham City winger David Cotterill has been told he can leave the club, but the Welsh international isn’t happy about his employer’s handling of the situation.
The 29-year-old has been regular for the Blues this season, but has seen his opportunities begin to dwindle since Gianfranco Zola succeeded Gary Rowett.
Cotterill has played over 45 minutes in just two of the six games since Rowett quit the St Andrew’s club.
And having been told he can leave, the forward isn’t best pleased with the situation.

Cotterill began his career with Bristol City, before two-year spells with each of Wigan, Sheffield United and Swansea.
That was followed by a brief stint with Barnsley, before another 24-month period with Doncaster.
The Welsh international then moved from Donny to Birmingham in 2014.

Born in Cardiff, Cotterill has won 24 caps for Wales, scoring twice and was a part of the squad which famously reached the semi-finals at last summer’s European Championships.
