Birmingham close in on shock swoop for Arsenal midfielder Wilshere

Birmingham City have emerged as the odds-on favourites to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
The Blues have been brought into 4/5 with manager Harry Redknapp keen to bring the 25-year-old to St Andrew’s.
Earlier today Redknapp spoke about the prospect of Wilshere moving to the Midlands as ‘dreamland.’
But that hasn’t deterred our traders who now have Birmingham as the favourites to land the England international.
Also still in the running are West Ham United at 4/1.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is looking to recruit after a dismal start to the season and the Gunners midfielder would add much needed steel to the midfield.
A move to the London Stadium would appeal to Wilshere who is understood to want to remain in London.
It means a move to Newcastle United (10/1) or a return to AFC Bournemouth (16/1) appear unlikely.
