FC Copenhagen vs Rosenborg – Advantage Norway in Scandinavia

Rosenborg make the trip to Denmark tonight with a 2-1 advantage from the first leg, but face a FC Copenhagen side that have made their best start to a league campaign since 1992, winning five and drawing the other of their first six games.

The Norwegian side have also yet to lose a game in their home league, but will have Jesper Gronkjaer’s consolation for Copenhagen last week in the back of their mind as they look to gain a place in the Champions League draw that takes place tomorrow.

Expect there to be two to three goals in this lively encounter and you can back that at odds of 10/11.

Both teams have experienced the group stages of the Champions League before but Rosenborg can progress if they produce the performance that has taken them nine points clear in the Tippeligaen league and are 7/2 to win tonight’s encounter.

Auxerre vs Zenit St Petersburg

Zenit St Petersburg take a one goal lead into their second leg tie against Auxerre in France, and after a week with no games they should be fresh enough to progress to the group stages.

Auxerre are yet to pick up three points in the French League this season from three games though a spirited showing in the first leg has given them hope.

Auxerre are currently 7/5 to win tonight but Zenit can boast two midfielder’s with decent scoring records this season in Danny and Vladimir Bystrov, and at 15/8 are excellent value to defeat Auxerre and progress to the group stages.

Copenhagen are 5/6 favourites for tonight’s game but are worth taking on. See the full UEFA Champions League betting market here.
