The Champions League group stage draws to a close tonight, and while Man City and Liverpool are already through to the last-16, it’s all still to play for in Group B as Real Madrid face Borussia Monchengladbach.

Los Blancos need to win in Germany to guarantee safe passage through to the knockouts, or they could face elimination at this stage of the competition for the first time in their history.

Can they do it, or will Monchengladbach and surprise package Shakhtar Donetsk cause a shock? We’ve previewed three of this evening’s fixtures from matchday six in our Champions League Betting Tips.

FC Midtjylland v Liverpool (17:55)

Liverpool are guaranteed top spot in Group D and boss Jurgen Klopp could rest a whole host of key players as a result. The likes of Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson all look set to miss out, which means the Reds arguably look a little vulnerable at 5/6.

Their opponents FC Midtjylland may be nailed on to finish bottom of the group, but that belies a host of positive performances which saw them go close at Anfield in October and claim a 1-1 draw against Atalanta last week.

While 3/1 may be a little short for them to take all three points, they are available at 19/20 on the Double Chance. The Danes have sharpened up their defence in recent weeks, and although youngster Curtis Jones could make appeal at 10/3 to score at any time for the Reds, we go 5/4 for Under 2.5 Goals in the contest.

Real Madrid v Borussia Monchengladbach (20:00)

Real Madrid are on the cusp of group stage elimination for the first time in their history. They need to pick up all three points against a free-scoring Borussia Monchengladbach side whose fate also hangs in the balance, even though the Bundesliga outfit head into the match in top spot.

The visitors have scored 16 in the group so far while their last seven matches in total have produced a mammoth 33 goals. Likewise, Real’s four most recent home matches in all competitions have seen the net ripple 18 times. We go 8/15 for Both Teams to Score and 5/4 for Over 3.5 Goals in the match.

Gladbach goal machine Alassane Plea is 23/10 to breach the porous home defence and find the net for a third game in a row.

Man City v Marseille (20:00)

Man City are already assured of top spot in Group C courtesy of their head-to-head record against Porto, which means that just like Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola has the luxury of being able rotate his team.

That could mean starts for the likes of Tommy Doyle, Cole Palmer and Felix Nmecha as City bid to wrap things up with a perfect record at 3/10. The draw is available at 17/4 while Europa League contenders Marseille are 10/1.

Sergio Aguero could start from the bench this evening after his injury lay-off, and should he come on we go 14/5 about him scoring last ahead of Sunday’s Manchester Derby. Phil Foden has found the net six times for club and country this term and is a 7/5 chance to add to his tally against the Ligue 1 side.
