Arsenal 9/2 to meet Bayern again in Monday’s Champions League draw

The draw for the Champions League round of 16 takes place on Monday, and our traders have priced up all the potential outcomes for English sides.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Leicester are in the mix, and Gunners’ fans will be keeping their fingers crossed they don’t draw Bayern Munich once again.

Having drawn each other in three of the last four seasons, Arsene Wenger’s charges are 9/2 to meet the German champions once again.

But it’s more likely at 7/2 that the Group A winners draw either Europa League kings Sevilla, or Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid.

The north Londoners haven’t played Real in over 10 years, while their only Champions League meeting with Sevilla came in 2007-2008.

It’s 6/1 the Gunners play Benfica or Porto, two sides Arsenal would be confident of progressing against.

Leicester City’s most likely opponents, according the the odds, are the aforementioned Spanish duo.

The reigning Premier League champions waltzed through Group G, but a clash with Sevilla or Real could be a step too far for Claudio Ranieri’s men.

The least likely opponent for the Foxes are Benfica at 6/1, who arguably represent their best chance of making the last eight.

And the final Premier League side in the draw is Manchester City, with Atletio Madrid and Borussia Dortmund the most likely opponents at 11/4.

Pep Guardiola’s men could also face Italian giants Juventus at 9/2.
