Carabao Cup Tips: Arsenal, Middlesbrough and West Ham to go through?

Last night’s Carabao Cup action included a thriller at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium, and there’s more excitement on the cards tonight and tomorrow.
This evening sees Frank Lampard’s Derby County take on Chelsea in the East Midlands and we have a full preview of that game here.
But there’s plenty more cup action elsewhere. And we have a raft of top tips for you on the other four clashes coming up…
Arsenal v Blackpool
Unai Emery’s Gunners are one of the country’s best attacking sides right now, and they’re likely to make short work of League One Blackpool at the Emirates.
Arsenal have netted 15 times in their last five home games, winning all of them. They’re available at 5/6 on the -2 handicap, while a more ambitious 4-0 scoreline in the hosts’ favour is 7/1.
Danny Welbeck netted twice in the last round against Bournemouth. He’s 8/15 to notch against the Seasiders, with 17/10 to bag Two or More Goals again.
If the visitors are to register, a set-piece could be their best bet. Towering defender Curtis Tilt has found the net in three of their last nine games, and can be backed at a hefty 16/1 to Score Anytime.
Middlesbrough v Crystal Palace
Boro boast the best defence in the Championship, conceding just eight times in 15 games. Palace boast Wilfried Zaha…and not much else.
Roy Hodgson’s men did look decent against Arsenal in Saturday’s 2-2 draw, but that game-raising display followed three pretty drab losses on the spin.
In the match betting, Boro are a sizeable 12/5 for victory in 90 minutes. It’s 6/5 for Palace, with 11/5 that this one goes to extra-time.
With such a strong backline, Boro are 19/4 to Win to Nil. The in-form Britt Assombalonga could help them on the way, at 11/5 Anytime. As for Zaha, he’s a shade shorter at 9/5 to find the net.
West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs’ stadium woes mean they’re playing for the second time in 48 hours, and the Irons could take advantage.
The pair’s head-to-head record is pretty even, with two wins each in the past five meetings.
The Irons are 7/4 to win in 90 minutes, while they’re a shade of odds-on to qualify at 10/11.
Six of Tottenham’s eight away games this term have seen three or more goals scored, and Over 2.5 Goals again is 3/4.
In the Anytime Goalscorer markets, the hopes of either side will be on Marko Arnautovic (6/4) and Harry Kane (21/20).
Man City v Fulham
While the Citizens should make fairly light work of their visitors tomorrow night, goals at both ends look likely. Despite having the Premier League’s leakiest backline, the Cottagers have netted in four of their last five games.
City to win and Both Teams to Score is a 33/20 shot, while a 4-1 win for Pep Guardiola’s men can be backed at odds of 12/1.
The Citizens tend to be strong starters, and have led at the half-hour mark in each of their last three games. We make it 5/6 they’re ahead after 30 minutes once again. Meanwhile, it’s 3/1 for the hosts to score in the opening 10 minutes.
