Burnley v Leeds betting tips: Clarets hope to bloom in Roses clash
Leeds enjoyed one of the best wins of their first season back in the Premier League against Tottenham last time out and the challenge is now to see how high they can finish.
Striker Patrick Bamford said after the Spurs win there would be no let-up between now and the end of the season, and United’s focus now moves to Lancashire as we check out the facts and figures for Saturday’s Burnley v Leeds betting tips.
Bamford was the only scorer when Leeds won the return fixture in December, his penalty not entirely telling the full story on a day when Burnley were unlucky not to pick up a point.
The Clarets had not fully found their rhythm back then, particularly in front of goal, but have remedied that of late in ex-Leeds striker Chris Wood who meets his old employers with eight goals in his last eight games.

Sean Dyche’s men relegated Fulham by winning at Craven Cottage on Monday and are 15/8 to make it back-to-back victories.
Leeds have impressed against the league’s bigger sides this season, but have occasionally struggled against some of the more functional outfits, but their games are seldom dull and we go 4/6 on three goals or more which has occurred in six of the Clarets’ last seven matches.
Both teams have scored in five of Burnley’s previous seven and that is available at 8/15.
Leeds welcomed Brazilian playmaker Raphinha back from a three-game injury absence last weekend, the winger assisting Rodrigo’s clincher from the bench and it would not be a surprise to see him replace Tyler Roberts and trigger a midfield reshuffle.
England midfielder Kalvin Phillips also came off the bench after injury and Marcelo Bielsa will have to decide whether or not to drop Robin Koch to bring him back, while skipper Liam Cooper is also available, so it remains to be seen if he replaces Pascal Struijk at centre-half.
It would be a surprise to see Dyche make any changes after such an impressive showing in his 350th game in charge, with Robbie Brady and Kevin Long still out injured.
Bamford has 15 for the season and due to the unusual fixture lists caused by coronavirus, is the first Leeds player in history to score in every calendar month.
His goal against Tottenham came in front of England coach Gareth Southgate as he bids to secure one of the additional spots for Euro 2020. His goals often come in gluts and he is 4/1 to open the scoring and 6/4 to bag at any time.
Beyond Bamford, Stuart Dallas has been a real star for Leeds all over the field, particularly with eight goals from no real fixed position and he is priced at 14/5 to chip in again.
Wood is well known to a number of Leeds mainstays including Dallas, Phillips, Cooper and Luke Ayling and is priced at 3/1 to continue his fine run with the first goal and 21/20 to score any time.
Though improved of late, Leeds have struggled against set-pieces on occasions this season and centre-backs Ben Mee and James Tarkowski are priced at 7/1 and 12/1 respectively to score at any time.
