Bundesliga betting tips and odds

The Bundesliga heads into December with a thriller on Saturday night as the top two meet in Der Klassiker at Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund are priced at 27/10 to beat the nine-time defending champions which would knock the leaders off their perch at the top of the table.

These teams have served up plenty of goals in recent meetings, so let’s take a look at some of the markets for our Bundesliga betting tips.

Borussia Dortmund v Bayern Munich

Bayern beat Dortmund 3-1 to win the German Super Cup at the start of the season and they are 4/5 to defeat their arch rivals for a sixth successive time in the Bundesliga.

The 31-time champions have won and conceded against Dortmund in their last four meetings in all competitions which can be backed at 31/20, while an away win and over 4.5 goals is available at 3/1.

Eleven of Dortmund’s 13 games have involved goals at both ends, one more than Bayern, so it’s perhaps not surprising that both teams to score is just 3/10!

Dortmund have a perfect home record this season, winning all seven games, so for our Bundesliga betting tips we go 18/5 on the hosts picking up three points and conceding.

Hoffenheim v Eintracht Frankfurt

Only Bayern and Dortmund are in better form than fifth-placed Hoffenheim over the course of the last six and eight games and they are 19/20 for a fifth successive home victory.

Their last three came without conceding so in our Bundesliga betting tips we go 29/10 on the hosts winning to nil, while a third win in a row by at least two goals can be backed at 23/10.

That said, Frankfurt have a superb recent record against Die Kraichgauer, winning the last six encounters and drawing the previous two, so they look an interesting prospect at 5/2 to make it seven.

Five of those six wins came by one-goal margins which is 17/4, the same price as the visitors winning and conceding just as it was in four of the last six matches between the teams.

Mainz v Wolfsburg

Two points and a couple of places separate these top-10 sides and Mainz are the 6/4 favourites to leapfrog Saturday’s opponents by winning at the MEWA Arena.

Wolfsburg had won the last four meetings with Mainz without conceding until that run ended in a 3-2 home defeat in May and the visitors are 15/8 to get back to winning ways.

Mainz’s last seven games have involved goals at both ends which is available at 4/5 while both teams to score, over 2.5 goals and either team to win is 7/4, an outcome which would have paid out in five of the hosts’ previous seven outings.

A share of the spoils is 11/5, a score draw is 16/5 and in our #GetAPrice section, a goal in both halves and the match to end all square is 11/2.
