Belgium v Croatia betting tips: England opponents in Brussels warm-up

Belgium are third favourites at 11/2 to win Euro 2020 and they conclude their preparations against England’s group opponents Croatia on Sunday night.
Roberto Martinez’s men are 17/20 favourites to win the friendly in Brussels despite a strong team being held to a 1-1 draw by an enterprising Greece side on Thursday night.
England coach Gareth Southgate will no doubt be taking a keen interest in this match so let’s look at some of the highlights for our Belgium v Croatia betting tips.
Match Odds
Croatia paid for missed chances on Tuesday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Armenia, ranked 90th in the Fifa world rankings.
The Croats fielded a strong team and all looked well when Ivan Perisic headed in a 24th-minute opener but the Inter Milan attacker missed an open goal just before the break and the hosts paid the penalty in the second half when substitute Wbeymar scored a 25-yard thunderbolt to equalise.

Another draw is priced at 13/5, a share of the spoils with goals is 10/3 and 1-1 is available at 11/2 bearing in mind that was the outcome when Belgium played Czech Republic in a World Cup qualifier in March.
Twelve of Croatia’s last 15 matches have produced goals at both ends which can be backed at 4/6 and they lost 3-2 at home to Portugal in the Nations League in November, so we go 17/10 on Belgium to win and over 2.5 goals or 18/5 on a win and at least four goals.
Talking Tactics
Martinez deployed a 3-4-2-1 against Greece, with Lukaku up top flanked by Yannick Carrasco and Jeremy Doku who was replaced at half-time by Thomas Meunier.
Croatia will have been encouraged by how Greece got behind behind Belgium’s back line, especially Giorgos Masouras who capitalised on a Toby Alderweireld error but was denied in a one-on-one with keeper Simon Mignolet.
Martinez was without Kevin de Bruyne (fractured nose and eye socket) and Eden Hazard, who is still not ready to start, so the head coach clearly has problems ahead of the first group game against Russia.
Croatia are likely to play in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Luka Modric playing deep and Andrej Kramaric up top.
