Belarusian Premier League Betting Tips: Weekend Preview
There’s no let-up in the Belarusian Premier League schedule this weekend with a further six matches from the top-flight across Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
League leaders Energetik-BGU will be looking to maintain their 100% record against Zhodino in Saturday’s feature match, while BATE Borisov take on Minsk in Sunday’s main course.
We’ve looked in-depth at both of those fixtures and provided the odds for each of the remaining quartet of games over the weekend.
Zhodino v Energetik-BGU (14:00, Saturday)
Energetik like name and energetic like nature. The Minsk-based club have flown out of the blocks in all three of their matches so far, leading at half-time in each one and scoring four of their six league goals in the first-45.
Opponents Zhodino have been much more frugal with their goalscoring, recording a pair of 1-0 wins prior to a 2-0 reverse against Dinamo Minsk. They’re favourites at 21/20 against 9/4 for the current table toppers.
Neither side is particularly fond of conceding goals, though, and that could lend itself to Under 2.5 Goals at 8/11. Likewise, Both Teams to Score – No, is rated a 19/20 chance by our traders.
Minsk v BATE Borisov (13:00, Sunday)
Minsk will be licking their lips ahead of this one. Andrey Razin’s men are sitting pretty near the top after opening the campaign with two wins from three. Visitors BATE have won once in their opening matches.
More concerning for the Champions League regulars will be their away day blues. The Barysaw side have lost all three of their matches on the road in league and cup. You can get 5/2 on that being extended to four.
BATE are 19/20 to make amends for their midweek cup defeat, while it’s 11/5 about the Draw. And as the league’s joint leakiest defence takes on the joint most-potent attack, we go 10/11 for Over 2.5 Goals.
If you want to double up on that, our traders make it 21/5 for Minsk to Win and Over 2.5 Goals in the match.
Belarusian Premier League Round-Up
There are four more matches across the weekend, excluding Friday, starting with Slutsk (23/20) against Vitebsk (9/4). That’s followed by a basement battle between Gorodeya (10/3) and Dinamo Minsk (4/5) on Saturday evening.
Sunday also sees Wigwam Smolevichy (19/4) take on Shakhtar Soligorsk (4/7) at 15:00 before Dinamo Brest (2/3) go head-to-head with Isloch (7/2) in the sole evening clash.
Meanwhile, Monday Night Football this week comes from the Yunost Stadium, as Slavia Mozyr (2/3) play host to FC Ruh Brest (9/4).
