Belarusian Premier League Betting Tips: We preview Friday’s matches

The start of the Belarusian Premier League season continuesapace on Friday afternoon as Belshina Bobruisk host Gorodeya and Dinamo Minsk takeon Zhodino.

Three of the sides are looking for their first points of thecampaign, while Zhodino are bidding to maintain their 100% record and leapfrogthose above them to go top of the league.

We’ve previewed both of Friday’s matches below.

Belshina Bobruisk v Gorodeya (15:00)

There’s a case to be made that Belshina and Gorodeya are thetwo strongest teams in the division. That’s not because they’re pulling uptrees, more down to the fact they’re holding everyone up at the foot of thetable.

That’s right, it’s 15th versus 16th to kick things off.Belshina do at least have the excuse of being new to the league after winningpromotion, and it’s a 27/20 chance they open their account for theseason with a win.

Gorodeya have proven themselves to be a solid mid-table side in recent seasons so it may just be a case of a slow start for them. Our traders have them at 2/1 to pick up all three points, with the Draw at 2/1.

Goals are usually at a premium in the Vysshaya League, and with just one solitary strike between these sides so far this term, we go 7/5 about Under 1.5 Goals and 11/2 for a 0-0 stalemate.

Dinamo Minsk v Zhodino (17:00)

In contrast to the previous fixture, these two are usuallyfound near the top end of the table. So while it isn’t a surprise that Zhodino stillboast a 100% record, it is a shock that Dinamo have lost both of their matches.

Recent history would suggest that the visitors should keep that trend going. Zhodino beat Dinamo 3-0 and 4-0 in the league last season and are 23/10 to take the spoils with 21/5 about another Win to Nil.

It’s also worth noting that the hosts have been particularlyporous in the first-half, letting in all four of the goals they’ve conceded inthe opening 45. By that token, Zhodino are 5/1 in the Half-Time/Full Timemarket.

But what if Dinamo do bounce back? They won nine out of 15 home games last term and conceded just 17 goals on their own patch. Our traders have them at 23/20 to win, with Under 2.5 Goals in the match at 1/2.
