The PDC Home Tour’s first stage comes to a close tonight, with Peter Wright favourite to top Group 32.
Snakebite is joined by Justin Pipe, Krzysztof Ratajski and Adam Hunt, with tonight’s winner going on to join 31 other players in Phase Two of the competition, which begins next week.
Krzysztof Ratajski v Justin Pipe (20:00)
Wright versus Hunt is the opener, with Snakebite a solid 1/8 favourite. Then it’s onto an intriguing contest between Ratajski and Pipe.
The Polish Eagle is 4/9 favourite for this one, with The Force the 13/8 outsider. However, Pipe is worth greater consideration given he has won each of his three meetings with the Polish arrowsmith.
This should be an even contest, with 8/1 about Pipe maintaining his dominance with a narrow 5-4 victory. But should Ratajski turn the tables, there’s 5/6 about Pipe on the +1.5 leg handicap.
Peter Wright v Krzysztof Ratajski (21:00)
After his opening match versus Hunt, Wright’s second game of the night could well be his trickiest.
The reigning world champion is still odds-on, but at 4/9, with our traders giving Ratajski a real chance at 13/8.
This home-based event has thrown up plenty of surprises already, but Wright will take confidence from having defeated the Pole in eight of their nine previous encounters.
A 5-3 win for Snakebite is 11/2, with a 5-4 Wright win available at 4/1 should Ratajski run him close. And if you fancy Wright to really find his groove, 2/1 says he’s King of the Oche.
Justin Pipe v Peter Wright (22:00)
Wright really is in good form these days, having won the Masters back in February to back up his world title at Alexandra Palace.
He finishes the night against Pipe, with our traders making the Scot 3/10 favourite, leaving Pipe at 12/5.
The duo have met on the oche plenty of times down the years, with Wright winning 10 of their 15 meetings.
Wright is 4/5 to throw the most maximums, while he’s 7/2 to win the night’s final match 5-3, and 2/1 to be King of the Oche.
