The firststage of the PDC Home Tour will officially be a quarter of the way finishedtonight as four more arrowsmiths take to the oche and do battle over a videocall.

Jonny Clayton,Adam Hunt, Richard North and David Pallett make up the tungsten quartet biddingto come out on top in Group Eight. We’ve previewed three of the evening’s sixclashes below.

RichardNorth v David Pallett (19:55)

There mightbe 22 places separating these two in the Order of Merit but our traders can’tsplit them this evening. The pair are available at 5/6 apiece, eventhough it’s North who’s above Pallett in the rankings.

However, the clue to this one could lay in the head-to-head statistics. Northy has won all four of his battles with Pallett, including two by just a single leg. We go 4/1 about a 5-4 victory for the higher-ranked player.

JonnyClayton v Richard North (20:45)

This willprobably be the toughest test of the night for Clayton. The Ferret has clockedup some impressive victories in the last 18 months and will be expected to topthe group as the standout player in the quartet.

His odds reflect that, with our traders going 4/9 that he leaves 13/8 shot North going in the wrong direction back down the table. He’s a slightly longer 5/6 to win on the -1.5 Legs Handicap too.

The Welshman isn’t shy of a 180 either, with 66 in the last 12 months. We make him a 10/11 chance to hit Over 1.5 maximums tonight in the best-of-nine-legs format.

DavidPallett v Jonny Clayton (21:35)

What betterplace to finish than the final match of the night? And this is another one thatClayton is widely expected to win. The 45-year-old has been installed as the4/9 favourite against 13/8 for Pallett.

All previousform should point to this being another comfortable victory for the Llanellithrower, but as we’ve seen throughout the PDC Home Tour so far, results don’talways go the way of the form book.

One thing we do know is that Clayton is capable of the spectacular. He showed that when dumping Michael van Gerwen out of the Ladbrokes Masters. You can get 5/6 about a checkout above 89.5 from the favourite.
