We’re delighted to announce that it has signed up Irish boxer Jason Quigley as an official Ladbrokes Ambassador.
The initial one year deal comes as the undefeated Irish middleweight readies himself to face Tureano Johnson tonight (18th July) in the 17th fight of his professional career, where he defends his NABF middleweight title in California.
Quigley turned professional in 2014 having had a stellar amateur career capturing World Silver and European Gold in 2013. Quigley, who is from Ballybofey, County Donegal in Ireland, trains under Coach Dominic Ingle in Sheffield and is part of the Golden Boy Promotions stable.
Ladbrokes will be working closely alongside Jason on promoting boxing in a fun and engaging way throughout the year.
We’ll bring customers to the heart of ringside action through weekly blogs and interviews where he will be sharing his unique insight on big-time boxing fixtures and his journey towards a possible World Championship bout in 2020.
Along the way Jason will share his journey and exclusive behind-the-scenes commentary from his training and fight build-up with his fans across his social media and on Ladbrokes TV.
Jason Quigley says: “I was delighted when the Sport Endorse team told me Ladbrokes were going to support me with a brand ambassador role. It’s brilliant to have a brand like Ladbrokes behind me. I really appreciate their support as I get back in the ring to continue my quest in becoming World Champion”
The partnership will also give Ladbrokes a prominent presence on Jason Quigley’s boxing apparel during public weigh-ins and on fight night, with the Ladbrokes logo displayed on his boxing robe, shorts and T-shirt.
Ladbrokes spokesperson Nicola McGeady says: “We’re thrilled that Jason is joining Ladbrokes. He has achieved so much and is one of the biggest prospects in the middle-weight division. We believe by signing him, he will help us grow and bring our brand to a new audience as we join him on his exciting journey in hopefully becoming a World Champion.”
