The talking is finally over and it’s time for Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew to settle their differences in the ring, but will it be repeat or revenge in Liverpool?
Cleverly was the winner when these two met back in 2011 at light-heavyweight but now, with the fight at cruiserweight, the Welsh fighter is the evens underdog.
But with plenty of markets available on the main event with Ladbrokes Oliver Yew has come up with three of his best bets for the top of the bill showdown…
When the pair first met the fight went all 12 rounds but that was at light-heavyweight and this time around, at the heavier weight, both fighters are sure to be punching harder.
That can certainly be said for Bellew and he has already proved he can knock people out at cruiserweight with devastating stoppages in his last two bouts.
And with Cleverly also looking like a fully-fledged cruiserweight now both guys will have to take some big punches at certain stages in the fight and at the prices, we are siding with the fight not going the distance!
There has been plenty of discussion surrounding this fight at the heavier weight and many people believe it will suit Bellew more than Cleverly.
Here at Ladbrokes News we tend to agree and judging by the previous performances from the pair at cruiserweight we are siding with the Liverpool fighter.
Bellew carries power and we are backing him to get his revenge on Cleverly in devastating circumstances!
As mentioned above Bellew’s real strength is his power but Cleverly is a smart boxer and it would be a surprise to see him stand and trade with the Scouser throwing serious bombs.
The Welshman will look to be smart and box his way to victory just as he did when the pair fought in 2011 but at some point his chin will be tested.
Bellew will catch up with him at some point in the later rounds and when he does it could be lights out for the former WBO world light-heavyweight champion.
