Up or down? The final day EFL permutations

So here we go, thefinal day of the Football League season is almost upon us. Ten long months ofhigh, lows and everything in between bottles down to this moment.
You’ll have jubilation of your team’s promotion, with hopesof bigger things on the horizon. But it’ll be a nail-biting ninety minutes forfans of all clubs still battling relegation.
One thing is for sure, it’s always a day to remember! So we’ve put our heads together to give youall the permutations ahead of the big day.
Championship
Norwich City came out on top to bag Premier League footballand they were joined shortly after by Sheffield United. It’s only in whichorder that is still yet to be decided.
Relegation has been wrapped up before the final day too,Ipswich Town, Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United have fell through the trapdoor to League One.
That means it’s all on the play-offs. Leeds United and Brummy boys West Brom and Aston Villa have made it.
But the last day gives us a three-way shoot-out for sixth-place. Derby County are in possession and are a short 4/9 to secure their spot.
Middlesbrough are a point behind at 11/5 to snare a playoff berth, but the Rams’ draw with Swansea City in midweek has given Bristol City a sniff at 12/1. Although they’d have to beat Hull City away and hope both their rivals lose.
League One
Automatic promotion in the third tier was all confirmed lastweek as Luton Town return to the Championship after a 12-year absence.
Barnsley are also up after both Portsmouth and Sunderland dropped points in midweek. We go with Luton at 1/4 to seal the title when they host Oxford United.
That means the top six will be filled by Pompey, Sunderlandand Charlton Athletic. The one remaining place will go down to the wire betweenDoncaster Rovers (70 points) and Peterborough United (69 points).
The Posh are 5/2 to grab sixth-place. Their inferior goal-difference means they must beat Burton Albion, while Donny at 2/7 will know three points against Coventry will clinch a play-off adventure.
But it’s the relegation scrap that’s the one to watch in the third tier. Bradford City are gone. They will be playing League Two football next season.
Then there’s a real battle royal to escape the drop, withScunthorpe United (1/8 to go down),Walsall (1/6), Plymouth Argyle (4/7), Southend United (4/11) and AFC Wimbledon (7/1) all within three points of eachother.
Wimbledon will do their job if they get a point atalready-relegated Bradford. While all the other candidates realistically mustwin to have any chance of avoiding the chop.
League Two
Two of the three automatic promotion places have gone toLincoln City and Bury – which leaves just a single place up for grabs.
The fixture generator has lined up a stonker of a last-day match between Mansfield Town in third and MK Dons in fourth.
It’s only goal difference that separates the two sides, soit’s winner takes all at Stadium MK.
The play-offs will be made up of the loser of MK Dons andMansfield, along with Forest Green Rovers and Tranmere Rovers.
The final place looks likely to go to Newport County at a short 1/3, but there’s a quartet including Exeter, Colchester, Carlisle and Stevenage all smelling blood if the Welsh side slip up.
Yeovil’s fall to the National League has been confirmed; with Notts County at a skinny 1/12 to play non-league footy next season.
