Will Jon Snow sit on the Iron Throne? Game of Thrones contenders priced up

With the return of Game of Thrones just days away, our traders have priced up the leading contenders to be sitting on the Iron Throne when all’s said and done.

Bran Stark is the all-seeing Three-Eyed Raven now. And he heads up the betting as the odds-on favourite at 5/6.

Sansa Stark has been a dark horse for much of the seven-season run so far, but she’s now 4/1 second-favourite, with Jon Snow a 5/1 shot.

But the series of novels that the show is based on is called A Song of Ice and Fire. And if ice represents the Stark family and fire represents the Targaryens, any children of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen would have a strong claim. We go 8/1 that one of Daenerys’ future children takes the throne.
