Paul Townend discusses his Sunday rides at Tramore

I have three rides on Sunday at Tramore starting with Alohamora (3.20) for James Nash in a 2m5f handicap hurdle.

I think if she can reproduce her run at Leopardstown the last day, she should be good enough.

The drop back in trip shouldn’t inconvenience her. It looks a winnable opportunity for her and she is my best ride of the day.

I ride Class Conti (3.55) for Willie Mullins in a chase. It’s his first run for us, having come from France.

He should jump well but we are learning about him still. Hopefully he runs a nice race and we can see where we go from there. I think the track will suit Velocity Boy, along with the drop in trip. He will take a lot of beating in this.

My last ride is That’s Mypresenting (4.30). He hasn’t run in two years but he is a course and distance winner.

He is probably one to keep an eye on for later in the summer. I’d imagine he will improve from Sunday.
