That means the three-year-old is now behind only sevenrivals for the 2,000 Guineas, which takes place on May 4th 2019.
Those adversaries include long-time favourite TooDarn Hot (9/4), Persian King(4/1), TenSovereigns (4/1) and MagnaGrecia (6/1).
Royal Marine, who couldn’t quite find a gap in the Craven, remains an 8/1 chance, while the previously fancied Zakouski has been eased out to 14/1.
Meanwhile, Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes had this to say : “With disappointing runs from Royal Marine and Zakousi the odds suggest that Persian King could be Godolphin’s key horse for the race.”
