After the reappointment of Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu, it looks set that Eden Hazard will become his first signing in the summer.
The Belgian’s Chelsea future had been up in the air for a while, but this summer finally looks to be the time where his dreams of working with Zidane at Real Madrid will be realised.
Hazard is having one of his best seasons in a Chelsea shirt, notching 13 goals and picking up 11 assists in league action.
With his contract running down, now could be the time for the Blues to cash in on this prized asset despite a transfer ban not allowing them to fill his void.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s been in the pipeline for some time now, but it looks like Hazard will finally jump ships this summer.”
