We have three runners on Day Three of the Festival, starting with Notwhatiam (2.10) in the Pertemps Final.

He is a horse I have noticed has been talked up quite a lot at some of the Festival Preview nights.

I’m not sure he has anything in hand to be honest with you, but he will suit the track, will suit the trip and will like soft ground, which does give him an each way chance.

I don’t think he is one of these horses that is coming into this race with 10lb in hand, like you often need, but he is in good form and think he will run respectably.

We have Spiritofthegames (4.10) in the Plate. I think he represents a great chance. We have trained him with the Festival in mind.

He obviously didn’t get in the novices handicap on Tuesday, which is probably a blessing in disguise because we wouldn’t have beaten A Plus Tard. So we are better off in this race and have high hopes.

In the last we have Captain Chaos (5.30) whose form had a big boost when the horse who has beaten him twice this season, Lake View Lad, was third in the Ultima. This is not as strong as that race on ratings. I think he has an each way chance.

He has been to the track once and he wasn’t right when he ran over hurdles at Cheltenham. He has been in very good form otherwise and at home we are very happy with him. I think he is competitively weighted.
