Mini me: Meghan backed to give birth to a girl

Meghan Markle is expected to give birth to a girl according to the latest odds from our traders.

Royal fans are convinced the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will soon be welcoming a baby girl into the world at 8/11.

You can get the birth of a boy at Evens but with Victoria at 8/1 and Diana at 10s – it looks like a girl could be on the cards.

Olivia is the lively longshot with the bookie taking bets since Colman’s win at the Oscars on Sunday night, leaving the moniker being slashed from 66/1 into 33/1.

Our traders even have odds on the time that Markle will give birth. It could be an early one for the Prince Harry and his wife. A morning birth is at Evens, with an evening delivery at 2/1.

The odds seem to be going in one direction and Harry may have to get used to Girl Power in his household in the near future.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It’s one-way traffic for a girl at the moment. If the support continues, the odds will only shorten up further as royal fans become increasingly convinced Meghan and Harry are having a baby.”
