England now 4/6 for Six Nations win; 7/4 for Grand Slam success

| 04.02.2019

It’s all change at the top of the betting for the 2019 Six Nations, with England installed as the new 4/6 tournament favourites.

Eddie Jones’ men upset the odds with a 32-20 bonus-point win over Ireland on Saturday to leave their opponents unable to defend their Grand Slam title.

England are now 7/4 for what would be only a second Grand Slam since 2003, while the Irish have dropped to 6/1 to win the entire tournament.

That puts them behind 11/4 shots Wales, who produced a dramatic comeback from 16-0 down against France to win their opener 24-19 at Stade de France.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Owen Farrell and co have given the nation every reason to believe the Six Nations trophy will be coming back to England.”
