Dan Skelton previews his runners at Wincanton, Market Rasen & Huntingdon

We have very little going on this weekend with just one runner tomorrow and that is Azzuri at Wincanton (1.45).

Based on the other day, he hasn’t got much chance. I thought he was going to run a lot better than he did but it looks like the handicapper has got him. There’s only 4 runners though, so that’s handy!

On Sunday, we have So Lonely at Market Rasen (2.45) who will be ridden by Harry Skelton. She ran ok the other day but faded at the end of the race which wasn’t ideal. I thought she would stay a bit better than that.

We have three at Huntingdon and Bridget Andrews starts on Accordingtogino (1pm) who was second on his first start. He’ll run nicely, as he’ll like the trip and the flat track. There’s a couple in there with fancy handicap marks so I wouldn’t say he’s the likely favourite.

Next up is Point Taken (1.30) who I thought was going to run really well at Newbury last time but he put up a very poor show which was has left us scratching our heads. We have to get back out there and see where we stand really.

Later on in the day we have Roser Moter (3.05). Hopefully she’d have some sort of chance. She’s got no weight and ran ok around there in the past and a handicap is going to suit her better than a novices’. She couldn’t show much ability in a novices’ race because they’re just too deep for her.

In other news, we’ve had to give them all the flu vaccination which has slowed up the job a little but overall we are very happy with our horses in the build-up to the Spring Festivals.
