Could we see a surprise FA Cup winner this season?

There weren’t any real shocks in this weekend’s FA Cup fifth-round action, but the grand old tournament has thrown up its fair share of surprises already this term.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all been dumped out already. That means Manchester City are currently the only member of the Premier League’s Big Six in the draw for the quarter-finals.
Either Chelsea or Manchester United will join them after they face off at Stamford Bridge tonight. Chelsea are 19/20 favourites, with a full preview of the game right here.
With so many of the usual contenders out of the picture, could we see a surprise winner this year?
Wolves to win it?
City are 11/10 favourites to lift the trophy, but Wolves will fancy their chances against anyone in a one-off game.
Wolves are currently the best of the rest in the Premier League, sitting in seventh place. They’ve been superb against the big boys, beating or drawing with each of the top six since gaining promotion.
We’ve got Nuno Espirito Santo’s side at 11/2 to win the cup for the first time since 1960.
Can Palace go one better?
Crystal Palace came close to upsetting United in the 2016 Final, only for Jesse Lingard to score an extra-time winner. We go 8/1 that they go all the way this year.
The South Londoners aren’t completely clear of the relegation scrap just yet, but they can raise their game against the top sides.
They’ve already beaten City and Spurs this term. Roy Hodgson’s side have taken points off Arsenal and Liverpool too. If they can keep things tight at the back, Wilfried Zaha always gives them a chance at the other end.
Who else is still in?
Watford are level with Palace at 8/1 to win the cup, having been one of the top-flight’s surprise packages this term.
Brighton and Hove Albion are further back at 14/1, though a decent draw could open up a path for them.
Swansea City and Millwall are the only lower-league representatives left in the competition. We’ve got the two Championship sides at 40/1 and 50/1 respectively.
