Blue return? Steve Holland 11/4 favourite to be next Chelsea boss

Maurizio Sarri’s days as Chelsea boss look decidedly numbered. And the view from our trading floor is that Steve Holland could be set to replace him.
The England assistant spent six years in the number-two role at Stamford Bridge, and leads the betting to be next in the Chelsea hot-seat at 11/4.
He’s followed by former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane at 7/2. Meanwhile, the role could go to a club legend – Gianfranco Zola is 6/1, with Frank Lampard (10/1) and John Terry (20/1) also outsiders for the gig.
As for Jose Mourinho starting a third stint as Blues boss, we go 16/1 he makes a shock return to SW6.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It’s clearly a case of when, and not if, Sarri is sacked, and all fingers are pointing towards Holland being given the gig at the Bridge.”
