Tuesday transfer rumour round-up: Chelsea duo to leave?

Published:
Alvaro Morata

The transfer window is really heating up now, with plenty of speculation flying around.

One deal that looks dead in the water is Wolves’ bid to sign Tammy Abraham. The Chelsea striker has opted to remain on loan at Aston Villa for the remainder of the season.

But there’s plenty of life in these links, as we cast our eye over a selection of potential moves…

Adios Alvaro?

Alvaro Morata may have run out of time to convince Maurizio Sarri he’s the man to lead the Chelsea attack.

He’s now 6/5 to join AC Milan, with Sevilla hovering at 7/4. If he does go, Chelsea are likely to bring a striker. They’re evens to get Callum Wilson or 8/13 to bring in Gonzalo Higuain.

CHO set to go?

Callum Hudson-Odoi looks set to have a very bright future in the game. But it doesn’t look like it’ll be at Chelsea.

Bayern Munich have now made a fourth offer for the winger, matching Chelsea’s £35m asking price.

The winger is understood to be keen to make the move. We go 4/11 that he joins the Bavarian giants this month.

Mousa’s moving on

Mousa Dembele – what a player when he’s on it. But injuries have taken their toll and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly accepted a £11m bid from Beijing Sinobo Guoan for him.

The 31-year-old has rarely featured for Spurs this term. But they still look good for a top-four spot without him at 1/10.

Will Man Utd reinforce their defence?

Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly has plenty of admirers around Europe. But few clubs could do with him as much as Manchester United. It’s been a long time since they had a commanding presence in the back four.

French reports suggest the United hierarchy would be prepared to spend big to sign the Senegal international. Our traders rate him 7/1 to arrive at Old Trafford.
