Injury hit Spurs to lose their grip on UCL spot?

Manchester United have picked up an additional boost in their chances of an unlikely top four finish this Premier League campaign after Tottenham front-man Harry Kane was ruled out through injury.

Fresh off the back of victory against the North London side, United are full of confidence and with a direct rival to a Champions League spot losing key players due to injury and Asian Cup commitments, they’ll fancy their chances even more.

Untied now sit just seven points behind Spurs, and our traders have cut the odds on a United top four finish from 9/4 to 2/1, while Spurs have drifted slightly to 1/5 from 1/6.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “With the team flying again under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, punters clearly think United will be the big beneficiaries while Kane is injured and Son is competing in the Asian Cup.”
