Gonzalo Higuain looks set to join Chelsea this month, according to our latest odds.
With Alvaro Morata seemingly on his way out of Stamford Bridge, the bookies now make long-term target Higuain just a 1/5 shot to sign for the Blues before the winter transfer window slams shut.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Higuain has been wanted by Chelsea for some time now and the latest odds suggest the Blues may finally get their man this month.”
Higuain has fallen out of favour at Juventus since the Old Lady since Cristiano Ronaldo last summer. The Argentine striker has been on-loan at AC Milan this season, scoring six times in Serie A.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has spoken publicly about the lack of clinical strikers at his disposal. Morata has netted just five league goals this season, while Olivier Giroud has scored only once.
