Barnet v Brentford tips: Which Bees will still be flying?

Callum Reynolds - Barnet

After knocking out Sheffield United in the third round, Barnet are eyeing another FA Cup scalp against Brentford tonight.

The non-league side are the lowest-ranked team still in the competition. They come into this on the back of eight wins in 13 games. Brentford’s form has improved lately, but they’re down in 18th in the Championship.

There have already been plenty of shocks in the cup this weekend. Are we in for another at The Hive?

Match Odds

With 71 places separating the two sides, our traders think the gulf could tell here.

Brentford are 2/5 for a fourth win on the spin. Barnet are 7/1 to keep their cup adventure going. There’s 17/5 about the draw.

There’s been only one goal in the home side’s last two cup outings. We go 11/4 for Under 1.5 Goals tonight.

Talking Tactics

Brentford can’t afford any complacency here. They only just saw off League One opposition in the last round. And the home side have shown they can raise their game on the big stage.

Thomas Frank is likely to name a strong side as a result, though he could be without Lewis Macleod in midfield.

Barnet will need to be secure at the back if they’re going to go through. The North-West Londoners are the joint-second lowest scorers in the National League.

Goalscorer Odds

Neal Maupay has been firing in the goals in the second tier. He’s 14/5 favourite to open the scoring, or 19/20 to net anytime.

Said Benrahma is also 19/10 to score for the third game running.

Shaquile Coulthirst was Barnet’s hero against the Blades. He’s 14/5 to get a fifth goal in six FA Cup starts.
