When is the FA Cup third round draw?

The FA Cup third round is one of the most famous weekends in sport. It offers minnows the take to take on the biggest teams in the land. It’s proper David v Goliath stuff.

And just as famous as the round itself is the draw. The remaining teams from League One, League Two and Non-League eagerly await to see if they’re landed a plum tie at home to a Premier League giant.

When is the third round draw?

The 2018 FA Cup third round draw takes place from 7.30pm. It will be live on BBC One, with Paul Ince and Ruud Gullit on hand from Stamford Bridge.

How many Non-League sides are in it?

Six. Barnet and Woking are guaranteed a third round tie, while Solihull Moors, Guiseley, Wrexham and Southport require replays.

Which numbers to look out for?

Arsenal are 2, with Chelsea 12, Liverpool 22, Man City 23 and Manchester United 24. Tottenham are 39, with non-league Woking 54 and Barnet 59.

When is the FA Cup third round?

As per tradition, the third round fixtures will take place over the first weekend of the year.  For 2019, that is Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January.

Who are favourites to win the FA Cup?

Pep Guardiola’s Man City are 4/1 favourites to win this season’s FA Cup. They’re followed by Liverpool at 11/2 and Chelsea at 6/1.

There’s 250/1 about 2013 winners Wigan Athletic, with 2008 FA Cup victors Portsmouth at 300/1.

Stockport County and Woking are the firm outsiders, at 5000/1 apiece.
