Theresa May odds

Our traders have priced up a host of political predictions for 2019 – and it doesn’t look good for Theresa May.

The Prime Minister is just 2/5 to be replaced at some point next year.

A second EU referendum is the next most likely event to occur at 5/4, with a UK General Election going for 6/4.

Jeremy Corbyn is 3/1 to become PM, though he’s also 2/1 to be replaced as Labour leader.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “A week is a long time in politics, let alone a year, but the odds certainly suggest that 2019 will be Theresa May’s last one as PM.”
