Dan Skelton’s Friday runners go at Cheltenham, Doncaster and Bangor

Ahead of the International Meeting, Dan Skelton chats about his runners at Cheltenham, along with three others at Doncaster and Bangor.
We start at Cheltenham with a horse called Monsieur D’Arque in the Novice Hurdle at 12.10.
He’s a nice horse who won a point-to-point. We thought two miles on a bit of nice ground looks a good starting point for him.
There’s obviously a couple in here with fancier form but he jumps well, will stay the trip very well and we are happy with him. I reckon he could have an outside chance.
Not That Fuisse runs in the Handicap Hurdle at 1.20. He ran well here in the Greatwood last time under a low weight. He had Willie Marshall on that day, who is a young lad and a bit inexperienced.
I’m not saying that he would’ve won but he did have an inexperienced rider on that day. Harry Skelton will be back on and I can see him having a bit of a chance.
We also go to Doncaster, where Sir Mangan runs in the Confined Chase at 2.20. He obviously hasn’t won for over a year so he gets in this race.
We are happy with him and there’s only three runners so he’s got to have a leading chance.
You could say the same thing for Miss Spent. She is entered into a Mares Handicap Hurdle at 2.55 and it’s a small field. She stays the trip well and has a definite chance.
We have one runner at Bangor, Allonok, at 3.20. We thought he would run OK at Chepstow but for whatever reason he just didn’t figure at all.
We need to get back on track so we won’t be talking too much about what he can or can’t do. He needs to get out there now and do it for himself.
