Man United longest price yet for top-four finish after derby loss

Manchester United are now the longest price they’ve been all season to finish outside the top four.

Our traders make the Red Devils a chunky 10/3 to make the cut this season, following Sunday’s limp 3-1 defeat at Manchester City.

By contrast, the Citizens have been so dominant this term that we’ve closed the betting on Pep Guardiola’s men finishing in the top four.

As it stands, Liverpool at 1/33 are the shortest price in the market, with Chelsea (1/5) and Tottenham Hotspur (1/2) also odds-on.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are 6/4 to finish the season in one of those coveted four spots.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “United are so far off the pace in the Premier League right now, it’s no surprise to see them priced so big to achieve a top four finish.”
