Hillary Clinton 66/1 for 2020 US presidency; Trump remains 11/8

Hillary Clinton has a mountain to climb if she’s to become the first female President of the United States in 2020, according to our odds.

The 2016 Democratic nomination lost out to Donald Trump two years ago and is now 66/1 to make amends by landing the keys to the White House in two years time.

However, our traders reckon she faces a tough battle just to win the race to become the Democratic nominee. Her odds of 33/1 put her comfortably behind favourites Kamala Harris at 5/1 and Beto O’Rourke at 6/1.

Indeed, Harris is given the most likely chance of toppling Trump in 2020. While the current US President is 11/8 to retain his post, Harris is an 8/1 shot to take office.

Elsewhere, Oprah Winfrey is given a 50/1 chance of winning the presidency, while Michael Obama is slightly further back at 66/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “History looks set to repeat itself as far as the odds are concerned for Hillary Clinton and her supporters.”
